The Community House in Forest Hills Gardens was established in 1926 as a non-profit, non-sectarian recreational facility for local residents. We offer constructive activities for children and adults alike.

We are pleased to offer a 7 week summer program beginning July 6th and ending
August 20th, 2009. The program is divided into seven one-week sessions.

Daily hours - 8:30AM – 4:00PM
Early drop off available at 8:00AM (for an additional fee of $50.00 per week/per child)
Extended hours available from 4:00PM – 6:00PM daily (for an additional fee of $75.00 per week/per child)

Combine both offers for an additional fee of $100.00 per week/per child!

Children must bring their lunch and beverage.
Daily snacks will be provided.
A Camp T-shirt will be provided

PROGRAMS

Kinder program for children ages 4 & 5
Junior program for children who have completed grades K to 6
C.I.T. program for children who have finished 7th or 8th grades.
Our facilities include a heated, indoor swimming pool with showers and changing
rooms, a gymnasium/auditorium, air-conditioned activity rooms and the
use of area parks.

Staff members are certified in First Aid and CPR. There is always a certified lifeguard on duty while the children are using the pool.
Register early to assure your child’s spot in our program.

Summer Program 2009

KINDER PROGRAM
This program is for children ages 4 & 5, (children must be four years of age by December 31, 2009 and toilet trained - NO PULL UPS). The children will have full use of the outdoor play yard.
Activities include outdoor games & sprinklers, music, arts & crafts, cooking, free play, quiet time, creative movement and library.
There will be neighborhood field trips.

FEES
1 to 3 weeks $350.00 per week
4 to 5 weeks $300.00 per week
6 to 7 weeks $275.00 per week

JUNIOR PROGRAM
(entering grades 1 to 7 as of September 2009)
Activities for this group include swimming, age appropriate games, arts and crafts, sports, cooking, and weekly field trips.

FEES
1 to 3 weeks $375.00 per week
4 to 5 weeks $350.00 per week
6 to 7 weeks $325.00 per week

C.I.T. PROGRAM

This program is for children who have completed 7th or 8th grade and would like to participate as a “Counselor in Training”.

FEES
1 to 7 weeks $200.00 per week

Extended care is available for an additional $75.00 per week/per child.
Early drop off is available for an additional $50.00 per week/per child.
Both available for an additional $100 per week/per child
There is a $100.00 non-refundable registration fee per child
