The Community House in Forest Hills
Gardens was established in 1926 as a non-profit,
non-sectarian recreational facility for local
residents. We offer constructive activities for
children and adults alike.
We are pleased to offer a 7 week
summer program beginning June 30th and
ending August 14th, 2008. The program
is divided into seven one-week sessions. Daily
hours - 8:30AM – 4:00PM
Early drop off
available at 8:00AM (for an
additional fee of $50.00 per week/per child)
Extended hours available from 4:00PM – 6:00PM
daily (For an additional fee of $75.00 per
week/per child)
Combine both offers for an additional fee of
$100.00 per week/per child!
Children must bring their lunch and beverage.
Daily snacks will be provided. A Camp T-shirt will
be provided
PROGRAMS
Kinder program for children ages
4 & 5
Junior program
for children who have completed grades K to 6
C.I.T. program
for children who have finished 7th or 8th grades.
Our facilities include a heated, indoor swimming
pool with showers and changing rooms, a
gymnasium/auditorium, air-conditioned activity
rooms and the use of area parks.
Staff members are certified in
First Aid and CPR. There is always a certified
lifeguard on duty while the children are using the
pool.
Register early to assure your child’s spot in our
program.
KINDER PROGRAM
This program is for children ages 4 & 5, (children
must be four years of age by December 31, 2008).
The children will have full use of the outdoor
play yard.
Activities include outdoor activities, water
activities, music, arts & crafts, cooking, games,
free play, quiet time, movement and library. There
will be neighborhood field trips.
